About the position

The Sr. Product Marketing Manager at AspenTech is a global role focused on the Digital Grid Management software suite, which aids power and utilities companies in optimizing and managing complex energy networks. This position is responsible for developing messaging, positioning, and sales enablement strategies to drive growth in usage, revenue, and market share, while collaborating with various teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate to develop and execute strategies to penetrate key market segments in power and utilities.
  • Demonstrate and articulate the value of AspenTech's solutions to diverse business stakeholders.
  • Develop value-based positioning and messaging that differentiates products in the market.
  • Identify best practices through research and customer case studies.
  • Create and deliver sales and marketing materials to drive sales enablement.
  • Translate technical terminology into clear messaging for successful marketing campaigns.
  • Develop conference content and identify customer papers for AspenTech's Global Conferences.
  • Create content to drive solution awareness, including product collateral, whitepapers, and social media content.
  • Work with the Industry Business Unit to ensure messaging reflects relevant industry dynamics.
  • Coordinate go-to-market strategies for new product and feature launches.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a technical discipline, preferably Information Technology or Electrical Engineering; MBA is a plus.
  • 5 - 10 years of experience in power, utilities, or related process industry segments.
  • Proven success in product marketing, including experience with worldwide marketing campaigns.
  • Experience with software solutions for utilities, energy, or power grid management is desired.
  • Self-directed, highly motivated, detail-oriented, charismatic, and personable.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to understand and convey complex information clearly and concisely.
  • Willingness to travel at least 15% (including internationally).
