About the position

The Powerplant Mechanic is responsible for ensuring high-quality work and timely completion of projects within the Powerplant Division. This role involves adhering to company and FAA procedures, maintaining a clean and safe workplace, and recommending improvements to enhance performance and quality. The mechanic will also handle waste materials appropriately and perform additional duties as assigned by the lead mechanic.

Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with crew members to achieve project milestones and quality standards.
  • Follow company and FAA procedures and policies during all tasks.
  • Maintain satisfactory work productivity levels.
  • Keep the workplace clean and safe at all times.
  • Recommend improvements to increase performance and quality.
  • Ensure proper handling of waste materials, oils, and fluids.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by the lead mechanic.

Requirements

  • Must hold at least an FAA Powerplant License.
  • Must have a High School Diploma or equivalency.
  • Must hold a valid US driver's license.
  • Proficient in the use of technical data/manuals.
  • Available for flexible hours and weekends.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Positive and professional attitude with good leadership skills.
  • Ability to work well with others under minimal supervision.
  • Self-motivated with competent problem-solving skills.
