About the position

The F&I Manager at South Bound Motorsports is responsible for overseeing the financial and insurance operations of the dealership. This role involves working directly with customers to arrange financing, present protection products, and ensure a smooth sales process, all while maintaining profitability and compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities

• Secure financing options for customers through various lending sources.
• Present and explain finance and insurance options, including extended warranties, service contracts, and GAP insurance.
• Structure deals effectively to maximize dealership profitability while ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of all F&I transactions and submit required documentation to lending institutions.
• Review credit applications, obtain credit reports, and work with lenders to obtain approvals.
• Ensure customer satisfaction by clearly explaining the financing terms, interest rates, and payment schedules.
• Collaborate closely with the sales and service teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
• Stay updated on all federal, state, and local regulations related to financing and insurance.
• Conduct monthly audits of finance deals to ensure compliance with all regulations and dealership policies.
• Train and assist the sales team in understanding finance and insurance products.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an F&I Manager in the automotive or motorsports industry (minimum of 2 years preferred).
• Strong knowledge of automotive financing and insurance products.
• Excellent negotiation and presentation skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with dealership management systems (DMS) and related software.
• Ability to explain complex financial terms to customers in a clear and concise manner.
• Understanding of federal, state, and local regulations affecting F&I operations.
• High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree is a plus.
