About the position

As the Paid Digital Media (PPC) and Social Media Manager at Yancey Bros. Co., you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our brand's online presence and driving business growth through strategic digital marketing initiatives. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and execute effective paid media and social engagement strategies that not only increase brand awareness but also foster engagement with our audience. You will be tasked with creating compelling social media strategies that attract new followers and enhance engagement across various social channels. Your passion for storytelling will be essential as you craft narratives that resonate with our audience and encourage community interaction. In this role, you will provide strategic guidance on Yancey's paid media initiatives, exploring innovative advertising capabilities to engage our audience effectively. You will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with our overall marketing goals. This will involve conducting competitor research, determining the most effective platforms, and identifying target audiences. You will create, edit, and publish monthly editorial calendars tailored to each social platform, ensuring that the content is relevant and engaging. Your responsibilities will also include moderating user-generated content, analyzing social media metrics, and acting on insights to optimize our strategies. In terms of digital advertising, you will evaluate and recommend tactics to support our marketing objectives, execute various digital advertising campaigns, and ensure that all paid media projects are planned and executed successfully. You will manage the boosting budget across all social platforms and oversee the day-to-day execution of paid media, ensuring that we meet our growth targets. To succeed in this position, you should have a strong background in social media marketing and digital media strategies, with a proven track record of creating engaging content and managing successful campaigns. Your ability to work independently and collaboratively with the executive team will be crucial as you pitch ideas and strategies that align with our business goals.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with overall marketing goals.
  • Create, edit, and publish monthly editorial calendars unique to each social platform.
  • Generate, edit, publish, and share daily content relevant to each social platform.
  • Create social content and campaigns including videos.
  • Moderate all user-generated content and support moderation facilitated through customer contact employees.
  • Capture and analyze social data/metrics, insights, and best practices.
  • Evaluate and recommend digital advertising tactics to support marketing objectives.
  • Execute various digital advertising tactics as directed by leadership.
  • Develop, execute, and optimize digital campaigns from conception to launch.
  • Produce relevant metrics reporting from various digital tactic platforms.
  • Provide ongoing actionable insights into campaign performance to stakeholders.
  • Define, measure, and evaluate relevant paid media KPIs.
  • Manage boosting budget across all social platforms.
  • Oversee and manage the overall budget for paid media.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, news media, public relations, or related field required.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of proven work experience in social media marketing or as a digital media specialist.
  • In-depth knowledge of social media platforms and their respective participants.
  • Strong skills in designing and implementing digital paid media programs in Google Adwords, Google Display, YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram Ads.
  • Experience managing digital marketing vendors.
  • Strong understanding of content creation, follower growth, and engagement.
  • Ability to bring campaigns to life through storytelling.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with direct response copywriting experience.
  • Videography and video editing experience is a plus.
  • Knowledge of online marketing and major marketing channels.
  • Knowledge of SEO, keyword research, and analytics.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to draw conclusions.

  • Experience with community management and engagement strategies.
