About the position

The PR & Channel Marketing Manager at Geek+ is responsible for executing the US marketing and communications plan to enhance the company's presence and grow its business in the US market. This role involves developing and implementing public relations strategies, supporting channel partners with co-marketing initiatives, managing media relations, and promoting events. The manager will also engage in content writing and digital marketing to align with the company's branding and marketing objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Create and execute PR campaigns from start to finish, including strategy, implementation, and evaluation.
  • Draft brand content such as press releases, articles, press kits, infographics, pitch notes, invitations, blog posts, and awards applications.
  • Drive earned media coverage centered around Geek+’s product line, including event engagements and new product launches.
  • Cultivate strong national media relationships and brand partnerships in the U.S. and support the global team with worldwide PR efforts.
  • Collaborate closely with channel partners to establish effective co-marketing strategies and campaigns.
  • Develop and deliver partner marketing brand positioning, strategy, and integration into campaigns through owned, earned, and paid channels.
  • Define measurement plans and frameworks; align measurement approaches with desired campaign objectives and utilize data-driven methodologies to improve effectiveness across all marketing channels.
  • Seek opportunities to collaborate across U.S. and Global teams, connecting like-activities and mutually beneficial scenarios to drive success.
  • Support U.S. team with pre-and-post marketing communications strategies for events.
  • Support U.S. & Global team with social, web/blog, and print content consistent with brand voice.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in public relations, journalism, English, or a related course of study.
  • Minimum 5-6 years of Public Relations experience handling corporate brands; agency experience is a plus.
  • Business acumen with an understanding of B2B marketing and communications.
  • Superior writing skills with the ability to change voice and tone to suit the audience.
  • Ability to craft PR presentations to present campaigns from concept through launch and post-launch activities.
  • Ability to define and track performance metrics.
  • Passion for technology and interest in robotics products; knowledge of logistics is a plus.
  • Interest in working in a fast-paced, multicultural, and multilingual environment requiring flexibility and quick thinking.
  • Available for travel (trade shows, video shoots, etc.).
