About the position

The Public Relations Manager/Senior Public Relations Manager at Apple will be responsible for driving the strategy, planning, and execution of corporate PR programs and initiatives. This role involves managing security-related issues and crisis communications, ensuring effective messaging within a fast-paced news cycle. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in public relations, particularly in technology and innovation, and will work collaboratively with various stakeholders to enhance Apple's corporate image and communication strategies.

Responsibilities

• Drive strategy, planning, and execution of major corporate PR programs and initiatives.
• Create and manage PR programs with policy, technology, consumer, broadcast, and general business press.
• Partner with product marketing and other stakeholders to develop messaging and competitive analysis.
• Handle crisis communication issues with a focus on managing messages within an hourly news cycle.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in Public Relations, either in an agency or corporate setting.
• Strong media relations experience.
• Excellent writing, editing, organizational, and public speaking skills with superb attention to detail.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and thrive in a dynamic environment.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with academic and highly technical research, data incident response, or issues management.
• Understanding of device and platform security concepts.
