About the position

The Public Relations Manager/Senior Public Relations Manager at Apple will lead the strategy, planning, and execution of corporate public relations programs and initiatives. This role involves managing security-related issues and crisis communications, ensuring effective messaging in a fast-paced news environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in public relations, particularly in technology and consumer sectors, and will be responsible for collaborating with various stakeholders to enhance Apple's public image and manage media relations effectively.

Responsibilities

• Drive strategy, planning, and execution of major corporate PR programs and initiatives.
• Create and manage PR programs with policy, technology, consumer, broadcast, and general business press.
• Partner with product marketing and other stakeholders to develop messaging and competitive analysis.
• Handle crisis communication issues with a focus on managing messages within an hourly news cycle.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in Public Relations, either in an agency or corporate setting.
• Ability to quickly analyze traditional and social media coverage and sentiment.
• Excellent writing, editing, organizational, and public speaking skills.
• Strong media relations experience.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and thrive in a dynamic environment.
• Natural self-starter with creative and critical thinking abilities.
