About the position

Apple's worldwide communications team is dedicated to informing the world about our innovative products and services, as well as the values that drive everything we do. This team comprises professionals with diverse backgrounds in public relations, journalism, social media, employee communications, writing, and buzz marketing. We are currently seeking a PR Manager/Senior PR Manager to join our corporate communications team. This role is ideal for a highly creative, dynamic storyteller who can establish and maintain lasting relationships with press, social media influencers, and technical experts, including industry analysts and journalists covering the silicon industry. As the ideal candidate, you will possess the ability to distill the differentiating qualities and user benefits of Apple's chips and other hardware technologies for both technical and mainstream audiences through a broad mix of media. You will be responsible for driving impactful coverage and feature stories. Your responsibilities will also include planning and executing major product PR launches, conducting momentum activities for Apple silicon and other hardware technologies, writing and developing thoughtful pitches and press materials, staffing events and media briefings, and identifying and managing issues in a continuous news cycle. A keen ability to prioritize, focus, and simplify key priorities and opportunities is essential, as is executing projects with relentless attention to detail. We have a deep understanding of the customer experience and the vital role Apple silicon plays in delivering it, and you will translate that into highly relevant and engaging communications to forge deeper connections with users, both current and potential.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Proven experience in public relations or communications, particularly in technology or consumer products.
• Strong storytelling skills with the ability to communicate complex technical information to diverse audiences.
• Experience in managing media relations and building relationships with journalists and influencers.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent writing and editing skills, with a keen eye for detail.
