About the position

The PR Manager at Omnissa is a pivotal role focused on enhancing brand awareness for a global technology company. This position involves driving the technology PR strategy across the product portfolio, utilizing both earned and owned media channels. The PR Manager will report to the Director of Corporate Communications and will play a significant role in executive-level strategic decisions, emphasizing technology storytelling and collaboration across various teams.

Responsibilities

  • Own core PR program including PRs, media, calendar, planning, agency management, and reporting.
  • Drive news strategy and identify new opportunities for media coverage.
  • Manage PR agency effectively against established plans and deadlines.
  • Establish framework and process for Partner PR initiatives.
  • Manage executive interviews and other PR moments, including briefing books and interview preparation.
  • Collaborate with agency on media outreach, pitching, bylines, and reporting.
  • Lead key messaging initiatives across PR, social media, blogs, and events.
  • Help define how company leaders engage with PR to advance business goals.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in technology/business PR.
  • Agency experience is a plus.
  • Strong media relations skills.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and presentation skills.
  • Problem-solving and negotiation skills.
  • Experience in agency and contractor management.
  • Ability to adapt to fast-paced environments.
