About the position

The PR Specialist, Rotational Program is an entry-level position designed for candidates interested in technology and public relations. This 15-month rotational program, starting in summer 2025, is based at Apple Park and includes rotations across various PR teams, including Product, Services, App Store, Retail, and Values PR. Participants will gain hands-on experience in developing communication strategies and events that promote Apple's products and services, while also representing the company's values.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and report on general news and reviews relevant to Apple and its industries.
  • Collaborate with the Product PR team to launch new products and software.
  • Work with the Services PR team to share stories about new content and experiences.
  • Assist the App Store PR team in identifying stories about developers.
  • Collaborate with the Retail PR team on new initiatives and product launches.
  • Support the Corporate PR team in uplifting the company's values and community support efforts.
  • Conduct research into press and influencers in specific topic verticals.
  • Compile editorial calendars and media lists.
  • Write blog posts, briefing notes, coverage reports, and pitches.
  • Identify and pursue new storytelling opportunities using internal and external tools.
  • Assist with PR activities related to events, press tours, and media relations programs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in public relations, communications, journalism, or a related field.
  • 0-1 years of work experience in an office environment preferred.
  • Clear and concise communication skills.
  • Excellent time management skills and adaptability to a dynamic environment.
