The Marketing team at PitchBook is critical to fueling the company's growth by using a variety of strategies to increase brand awareness and support our Sales and Customer Success departments in growing and retaining our client base. The Marketing department is responsible for all demand generation efforts by executing engaging campaigns, effective product marketing strategies, and attending client and trade-show events. The Marketing team is also responsible for promoting the PitchBook brand and managing internal communications. Reporting to the Director of Communications, the Public Relations (PR) Specialist of social media is responsible for managing and executing our social media strategy to drive brand awareness, engagement, and lead generation. This role requires a blend of content creation, graphic design and multimedia skills, and data-driven analysis to optimize our social media efforts across various platforms. They will work closely with our communications, creative, and go-to-market campaign teams to develop compelling social media content. The content will resonate with our target audiences, tailor to different platforms, and align with marketing's strategic initiatives. This role must have a strong understanding of PitchBook's business, suite of products, target audience, market trends, and PitchBook's brand voice, tone, and design standards. They must be a self-starter that can anticipate and proactively identify opportunities to execute best-in-class evergreen and campaign-based social media content, while also maintaining a comprehensive content calendar. This role will require a passion for narrative storytelling, developing innovative and effective content campaigns across different channels, as well as testing creative hypotheses, reporting on learnings, and building strategic insights.
