About the position

The PR Specialist role at Apple is designed for recent graduates and early professionals, offering a rotational development program that spans 15 months. This position provides an opportunity to work within various PR teams, including Product, Services, App Store, Retail, and Values PR, based out of Apple Park. The role focuses on communicating the innovative products and services Apple offers, while gaining valuable insights into PR and communications across different business aspects.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Product PR team to launch new products and software across various Apple devices.
  • Work closely with the Retail PR team on new initiatives, store openings, and product launches.
  • Partner with the Services PR team to share stories about new content and experiences across Apple services.
  • Partner with the App Store PR team to identify stories about developers and their apps.
  • Collaborate with the Corporate PR team to uplift the company's values and community support efforts.
  • Conduct research into press and influencers covering specific topic verticals.
  • Monitor and report on general news and reviews relevant to Apple.
  • Compile editorial calendars and media lists.
  • Write blog posts, briefing notes, coverage reports, and pitches.
  • Use internal and external tools to identify and pursue new storytelling opportunities.
  • Assist with PR activities related to events, press tours, and media relations programs.

Requirements

  • 0-1 years of work experience.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field of study.

  • Major in public relations, communications, or journalism.
  • Familiarity with Apple products, services, and software.
