About the position

The Practice Area (PA) Manager for Technology, Media & Telecommunications (TMT) will lead the People agenda, collaborating with the Global People Leader and the leadership team to define and implement strategic initiatives aimed at developing the workforce and managing the overall people agenda. This role requires a deep understanding of the TMT business, strong stakeholder engagement, and the ability to drive insights and recommendations to support growth and affiliation goals.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and drive the overall people plan for TMT, defining global initiatives against priority themes.
  • Derive insights on the people base and sentiment, defining initiatives and setting targets in collaboration with senior leadership.
  • Manage team priorities and track progress through clear KPIs.
  • Develop the pyramid plan for the PA, providing insights and recommendations around resource planning and strategy.
  • Oversee the affiliation process and ensure best practice support for TMT members at key career points.
  • Provide insights for Lateral Hire efforts and oversee people announcements.
  • Set strategy for Alumni engagement and oversee Regional Alumni Councils.
  • Drive the TMT Academy strategy and oversee the delivery of internal learning programs.
  • Enhance Expert engagement and analyze KPIs to improve career management.
  • Track Diversity KPIs and define interventions to promote diversity within the organization.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders to set agendas for affiliation meetings and oversee logistics.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a business-related field required; MBA preferred.
  • 6-8+ years of experience in consulting or similar strategic roles.
  • Excellent storylining and writing skills for presentations and memos.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience managing large data sets and conducting analysis.
  • Experience managing large budgets and financial systems preferred.
  • People management or mentorship experience is a plus.

  • Experience in a high-tech industry or with technology companies.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies.
  • Knowledge of diversity and inclusion best practices.
