About the position

The Practice Builder/Accounts Manager at Twining Holdings is a pivotal role focused on driving business development, project delivery, and project management within the Southern California region. This position aims to facilitate growth by positioning the company for large-scale construction projects across various sectors, including healthcare, education, and government facilities. The role requires strong client relationship management and effective project oversight from contract initiation to completion.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate growth for Twining's Southern California geographical areas by positioning the company for large-scale construction projects.
  • Generate growth across the Twining Group of Companies through integration and cross-selling of additional service lines.
  • Develop a sustainable business line within the company facilitated through Twining's Pioneer program.
  • Work with project management and technical personnel to ensure effective service delivery.
  • Foster and develop client relationships that lead to proposal and contract opportunities.
  • Maintain a presence within the industry by attending networking events.
  • Develop new and maintain current personal client relationships.
  • Ensure project delivery from contract to completion via direct project management efforts.
  • Guide operations and sales efforts utilizing established management and market experience.
  • Take an active role in recruiting and building personnel as growth dictates.
  • Act as the single point of contact for managed projects, overseeing documentation, billing, and budget management.

Requirements

  • A minimum of twelve years' industry-related business development experience.
  • Strong network of connections with developers, contractors, and public agencies.
  • Demonstrated track record of closing sales.
  • Demonstrated track record in Project Management and Operations.
  • Exceptionally strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal relationship skills, sense of responsibility and responsiveness.
  • Knowledge and experience in special inspection services with public and private sectors.
  • Proficiency in reading specifications, plans, and construction schedules.
  • Estimating quality assurance and quality control services.
  • Strong background in structural special inspections.
  • Experience with overseeing materials testing and structural inspections.
