About the position

The Practice Consultant position at FIS Global is a full-time role focused on project management and testing within client implementations. The role requires a seasoned professional who can collaborate with project managers and professional services teams to ensure successful project delivery. The consultant will be responsible for developing test strategies, managing resources, and participating in critical client decision-making processes regarding project quality and scope.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with the FIS implementation team and development organization to devise end-to-end test strategies for clients.
• Participate in client Go/No Go decisions regarding project implementations.
• Align business stakeholders, clients, and FIS implementation teams on quality and scope of implementations.
• Build test charters and resource management plans for projects.
• Manage defect tracking and ensure adherence to various phases of testing in large-scale implementations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Finance, Accounting, or Engineering.
• 10+ years of experience in agile project management and/or end-to-end testing.
• Knowledge of application development, software testing, and quality management.

Nice-to-haves

• Certification in Agile Project Management and/or testing.
• Bilingual in Spanish.
