About the position

The Practice Director for Permanent Placement in Marketing & Creative is responsible for driving business generation, maintaining high performance metrics, and leading a team of up to four direct reports. This role involves effective communication across all organizational levels, recruitment of new hires, and fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment. The Practice Director will also focus on customer retention and expansion strategies while promoting a culture of recognition and success within the team.

Responsibilities

  • Drive revenue generating activities and practice group performance.
  • Execute operational focus areas and meet productivity standards.
  • Manage time effectively, plan, and multi-task.
  • Train, develop, and retain staff to reach target performance metrics.
  • Achieve pricing goals and recognize business trends.
  • Lead customer retention and expansion strategies.
  • Promote a culture of collaboration and effective communication.
  • Motivate and inspire team members, providing recognition for successes.
  • Facilitate resolution with internal staff, clients, and candidates.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of talent solutions and/or management experience required.
  • Proven performance in a talent manager/director role.
  • Demonstrated success in business generation and driving business development.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office, databases, and other technology systems.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent preferred.
