Manages and provides operational leadership to assigned areas of the MarinHealth Medical Network Ambulatory Clinics ensuring they meet the MarinHealth enterprise-wide goals and initiatives of safety, affordability, quality, satisfaction, and access. Plans and organizes operations and resources to ensure effective and efficient delivery of patient care consistent with best practices. Proactively manages policy and procedure, guaranteeing compliance with the clinic, affiliates, vendors, the MarinHealth enterprise, and state and federal regulatory agencies where applicable. Takes a strategic and tactical approach in identifying best practices, standardizing workflows, and proposing plans of action to implement changes. Implements and manages capital and operational budgets to achieve financial targets through effective use of personnel, resources, and supplies. Develops and maintains a solid partnership with internal and external peers, leaders, and/or regulatory agencies to facilitate and collaborate on initiatives or solve issues. Provides guidance and/or direct intervention in resolving challenging or complex situations with an empathetic and solution-based approach. Accountable for role modeling principles defined by the C.A.R.E.S Standards, clinic or enterprise-wide initiatives, and the MarinHealth Mission, "To provide exceptional healthcare services in a compassionate and healing environment".
Responsibilities

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare or related field or equivalent education/experience.
- 3 - 5 years' supervisory and/or management experience in an ambulatory healthcare setting.
- Knowledge of operations in the ambulatory setting.
- Comprehensive knowledge of applicable state and federal regulations.
- Ability to form relationships with physicians and medical directors.
- Proven leadership skills including team building and coaching.
- In-depth understanding of operations and clinical workflows.
- Demonstrated tactical and analytical thinking and planning skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to handle difficult circumstances and make sound business decisions.
