About the position

The Practice Management Applications Specialist at Revere Health is responsible for the integration and optimization of the AthenaIDX practice management technology across clinical and administrative settings. This role involves supporting and enhancing workflows, patient billing, and revenue cycle management, while collaborating with healthcare providers and IT teams to ensure effective system utilization and ongoing support.

Responsibilities

• Guide the implementation, administration, and ongoing support of the AthenaIDX system.
• Execute technical support tasks, oversee installations, perform maintenance, and test new features.
• Create thorough documentation and troubleshoot system issues, acting as a primary contact for users and management.
• Serve as a liaison between departments, end users, and technical teams to ensure cohesive understanding of AthenaIDX.
• Lead efforts with department super users and provide hands-on assistance during system rollouts and upgrades.
• Support end users in adopting new features that enhance billing accuracy and streamline operations.
• Manage and document workflows, configuration updates, and change management efforts.
• Conduct onsite and virtual training sessions for new users to enhance their proficiency in AthenaIDX.
• Coordinate project resources and provide regular status updates for Information Services projects related to practice management.

Requirements

• 3-5+ years of experience in Application/Software support, specifically within practice management systems like AthenaIDX.
• Leadership or project management experience.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution, preferably in healthcare, information management, or business administration.
• Experience in healthcare environments is strongly preferred.
