About the position

The Saint Alphonsus Medical Group (SAMG) is looking for an experienced, compassionate, and collaborative Practice Manager for our Residency Program clinic located at our South Nampa location! As the Practice Manager, you will oversee the operations of the Nampa Family Medicine Residency continuity clinic and clinic staff. The clinic will begin with an initial class size of 6 residents in association with the Mountain States Institute for Graduate Medical Education and Research (MSI) and several core faculty. In addition to providers, the Practice manager will manage an RN, Medical Assistant, and Patient Service Rep. Lab and x-ray services are available in the urgent care clinic in the same location. The clinic will be opening July 1st. The program includes an aggressive growth plan that will expand to 24 residents in the next 5 years. You would have a dyad relationship with the Medical Director who is faculty at MSI and will be responsible in carrying out policies, protocols, etc., under their lead.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the operations of the Nampa Family Medicine Residency continuity clinic and clinic staff.
  • Manage workflow functions, outcomes, customer satisfaction, and quality measures of the practices.
  • Meet or exceed established financial and other objectives set in cooperation with medical group leadership.
  • Lead and manage areas including Operations, Human Resource Management, Customer Service, Financial Management, Quality & Compliance, Business Development, and Communication and Teamwork.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or healthcare related field.
  • Eight (8) or more years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 2 years of supervisor/manager experience required.

Nice-to-haves

  • Thorough knowledge of ambulatory practice and operations and customer requirements.
  • Strong self-initiative and organizational skills.
  • Experience with change management and finance/budgeting.
