About the position

The Practice Manager at Female Urology of Nashville will oversee the operational responsibilities of the practice, ensuring efficient management of staff and business functions. This role is crucial in enhancing team productivity and patient experience while maintaining high standards of service in a healthcare environment focused on female urology.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate patient flow through the center to ensure appropriate utilization of business resources.
  • Monitor wait times for the center and manage the workflow accordingly.
  • Identify opportunities to increase business and scope of services provided by the center.
  • Ensure high team member morale and a professional, effective, and efficient working atmosphere.
  • Participate in administrative business operations meetings as scheduled.
  • Counsel, discipline, and/or recommend termination of team members as necessary.
  • Own the performance results in regards to patient experience, patient volume, financial results, and service standards.
  • Serve as the communication liaison between the home office and all center team members.
  • Understand work flow and function of all positions.
  • Effectively serve as a fill-in on all positions qualified for, when absences or patient volumes warrant additional help.
  • Serve as the IT liaison for training and systems, i.e. eClinicalWorks, Paycor.
  • Implement the policies and procedures from the Home Office.
  • Follow all operational guidelines.
  • Manage cash flow.
  • Supervise daily practice operations such as billing, debt collections, security, and occupational health and safety.
  • Monitor the inventory for medications and medical equipment and organize for resupply.
  • Interact with patients and address their complaints.
  • Coordinate regular staff meetings and performance reviews.
  • Collaborate with Physicians to develop business strategies and patient services.

Requirements

  • Previous successful experience working in a healthcare environment, practice management experience required.
  • Working knowledge of work flow and scheduling.
  • Must be able to maintain a highly structured environment.
  • Must be available in office five days a week (no remote days).
