About the position

The Practice Manager will oversee the daily operations of a dental practice, ensuring high standards of patient care and compliance with regulations. This role involves managing staff, monitoring performance metrics, and fostering a positive work environment while maintaining a patient-centric approach.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and engage patients with respect and a smile.
  • Ensure patients are well informed and comfortable about their treatment and oral health.
  • Oversee practice operations, focusing on key performance indicators, revenue, and expenses on a week-to-week basis.
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal claims processing guidelines.
  • Lead by example, fostering a positive and respectful workplace.
  • Take initiative and hold oneself and team accountable to high performance standards.
  • Maintain a patient-centric approach across all practice operations.
  • Perform any additional duties as assigned.
  • Maintain a clean, sterile, and patient-centric working environment.
  • Maintain strict compliance with State, Federal, and other regulations.

Requirements

  • Minimum one year of supervisory/management experience, including P&L management.
  • Leadership skills to build and develop a high-performing team.
  • Prior customer service experience, preferably in healthcare, dental, or retail.
  • Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and Dental System software.
  • Ability to collaborate for continuous improvement in patient experience and operational efficiency.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to work in a fast-paced office environment.
  • Punctuality and commitment to professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Current CPR certification or ability to obtain within 30 days.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the desire for professional growth.
  • Be organized and possess a superior knowledge of dentistry and dental terminology.
