The Practice Manager will oversee the operations of an emergency veterinary hospital, ensuring efficient office operations, compliance with healthcare regulations, and exceptional support to the healthcare team. This role requires a strong background in practice management, medical administrative support, and fiscal management to enhance patient care services and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of the practice, ensuring smooth workflow and patient satisfaction.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards, including the maintenance of accurate medical records.
  • Develop and manage budgets, monitor expenses, and implement cost-effective strategies.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to improve patient care services and operational efficiency.
  • Utilize Insinct software for managing patient information and practice operations.
  • Implement policies and procedures to enhance office management and improve overall productivity.
  • Address patient inquiries and concerns promptly to maintain high levels of patient satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in practice management within a clinic or hospital environment.
  • Proficiency in eClinicalWorks or similar electronic medical record systems.
  • Strong knowledge of medical records management and healthcare compliance regulations.
  • Excellent budgeting skills with experience in fiscal management.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Strong leadership abilities to motivate and guide staff towards achieving practice goals.
  • Effective communication skills for interacting with patients, staff, and healthcare providers.

Nice-to-haves

  • Critical care experience is a plus but not required.
