About the position

The Practice Operations Coordinator for Outpatient Cardiology is responsible for coordinating physician practice operations and providing administrative support to management. This role ensures efficient operations within the practice, overseeing a small team of physicians or assisting a practice manager in larger settings. The coordinator may also function as a working supervisor, contributing to the overall effectiveness of the practice.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate physician practice operations and provide administrative support to management.
• Ensure efficient operations within the practice.
• Oversee a small practice of 1 to 3 physicians or assist the practice manager with larger practices of up to 6 physicians.
• Support efforts to enhance operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Associates degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school required.
• Three (3) years of medical office, healthcare, or related experience required (or six (6) years if no degree).
• Proficiency with applications such as EPIC, Microsoft applications, Kronos, QGenda, and Tableau.

Nice-to-haves

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, healthcare administration, or a related field preferred.
