About the position

Rödl & Partner is seeking a qualified intern (m/f/d) for a minimum of 6 months in the areas of auditing and tax consulting at their locations in the USA, including Atlanta, GA, Houston, TX, Charlotte, NC, and Greenville, SC. This internship program offers insights and experiences in international auditing, accounting, and tax consulting.

Responsibilities

• Gain practical experience in US and German auditing and tax consulting.
• Participate in training sessions on various topics such as ProSystems Engagement, Microsoft Excel, bank reconciliations, cash audits, and tax estimates.
• Collaborate with a high-performing interdisciplinary team on challenging tasks in an international environment.

Requirements

• At least three semesters of studies in economics with a focus on (international) accounting, auditing, and/or taxes.
• Initial theoretical and/or practical experience in accounting and/or taxes.
• Enjoyment of teamwork, high performance willingness, initiative, quality awareness, and good analytical skills.
• Fluent in German and English, both spoken and written.

Nice-to-haves

• Internships abroad and additional qualifications are advantageous.
