About the position

The Sales & Design Consultant at Pratesi is responsible for managing the end-to-end sales journey for clients, focusing on their interior design needs and ensuring customer satisfaction. This role involves promoting the Pratesi brand, building relationships with clients, and providing exceptional customer service in a retail environment. The consultant will work closely with a small team and the Store Manager, contributing ideas and engaging with the local design community to enhance brand awareness and drive sales.

Responsibilities

  • Managing the end-to-end sales journey for clients, ensuring their needs are prioritized.
  • Providing high levels of customer service in the store at all times.
  • Assisting with the interior design needs of both retail and trade clients.
  • Actively outreach to the local interior design and trade community.
  • Build and maintain a client base through consistent follow-up and scheduling appointments.
  • Network with designers, decorators, stylists, and commercial developers.
  • Educate clients about the brand, its products, and their benefits.
  • Benchmark the competition and build value in products for clients.
  • Focus on providing a consultative sales approach with clients of all levels.
  • Collaborate with wider Pratesi teams to improve customer experience.
  • Ensure store presentation reflects the high quality of products.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of at least 3 years in retail sales, ideally within luxury home interiors.
  • Experience working with trade, specifically interior designers and stylists.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members.
  • Successful upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities.
  • Strong background in retail sales with the ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Experience in conversion optimization strategies to enhance sales performance.
  • Ability to build lasting relationships with clients and follow up effectively.
