About the position

The Pre and Post-op Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting the Lead RN and other assistants to ensure an outstanding patient experience during the surgical process. This position focuses on creating a comfortable and non-stressful environment for patients throughout their admission, anesthesia, and discharge stages, while upholding the philosophy of quality and caring treatment.

Responsibilities

• Support the Lead RN and other assistants in providing patient care.
• Ensure a smooth flow of patients during the surgical experience.
• Maintain a positive and cheerful demeanor to instill confidence in patients.
• Uphold the PCLI philosophy of quality and caring treatment in daily activities.

Requirements

• Attention to detail
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Knowledge and comfort with Microsoft Office programs and EHR/EMR products
• Good listening skills
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
• Pleasant, caring, and cooperative attitude
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
