About the position
Superior Schools is seeking a dedicated Pre-K 3 Teacher to join the team at Plato Academy Palm Trinity in New Port Richey. This full-time position focuses on teaching 3-4 year old children, promoting learning through play, and engaging students in activities that foster academic, social, and emotional growth. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a preschool setting and a passion for early childhood education.
Responsibilities
- Maintain compliance with all safety rules and regulations as required by the Licensing Board, Superior Schools, the Early Learning Coalition and other outside agencies.
- Create engaging lesson plans.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes social-emotional growth.
- Utilize effective classroom management techniques to ensure a safe and productive learning environment.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of Parts I & II of the required DCF Child Care Training (or willing to obtain).
- Current background checks.
- Completion of any additional trainings as required by the Department of Early Learning.
- Current First Aid and CPR (or willing to obtain).
