About the position
The Early Childhood Center Teaching/Pre-K Teacher will provide students in the Dual Language program with appropriate lesson planning and lesson delivery as well as learning experiences in all academic subjects to help them fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth. The teacher will follow the guidelines of the One-Way Dual Language program with evidence of best practices, enabling students to develop competencies and skills to function successfully in society.
Responsibilities
- Provide appropriate lesson planning and delivery for students in the Dual Language program.
- Facilitate learning experiences in all academic subjects.
- Support students' intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth.
- Implement best practices in accordance with the One-Way Dual Language program.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
- Valid Texas teaching certificate with endorsement in Bilingual/ESL education.
- Proficient in English and Spanish.
- Knowledge of curriculum and instruction.
- Ability to instruct students and manage their behavior.
- Ability to interpret data and use it for data-driven instruction.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Nice-to-haves
- At least one year of teaching experience or approved internship.
