About the position

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Preschool Teacher Assistant to join our team at Peek A Boo Learning Center. In this role, you will play a key part in educating and nurturing young minds in a stimulating and safe environment. As a Teacher Assistant, you will support the lead teacher in developing and implementing engaging lesson plans that promote the intellectual and social development of children. You will help create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages children to explore and discover their surroundings. Your responsibilities will include utilizing effective behavior management techniques to foster a supportive classroom atmosphere, collaborating with colleagues to design and enhance the preschool curriculum, and providing individualized attention to students to address their unique learning needs. You will also monitor and assess student progress to ensure that educational goals are met, contributing to the overall success of the preschool program. This position requires a strong commitment to early childhood education principles and a passion for working with young children. You will be instrumental in creating a nurturing environment that supports children's growth and development, making a positive impact on their lives.

• Previous experience working with preschool or toddler-aged students is preferred.
• Knowledge of early intervention strategies to support children's growth and development.
• Ability to effectively communicate with parents, colleagues, and students.
• Certification in early childhood education or related field is a plus.
