About the position

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Pre-K Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating environment that fosters the social, emotional, and cognitive development of young children. This role requires a strong understanding of childhood development principles and the ability to implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of preschool-aged children.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum that promotes learning in key areas such as math, physical education, and social skills.
• Manage classroom behavior effectively, ensuring a positive and respectful learning environment.
• Provide individualized care and attention to toddlers, supporting their developmental milestones.
• Foster a love for learning through creative activities, play-based learning, and hands-on experiences.
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns.
• Maintain a safe and organized classroom environment that encourages exploration and discovery.
• Collaborate with other educators to enhance the overall educational experience for students.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
• Experience in preschool or private school settings is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of childhood development theories and practices.
• Proficiency in classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies.
• Familiarity with Montessori methods or other progressive educational philosophies is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and community members.
