About the position

The Pre-Kindergarten Teacher at The Goddard School is responsible for creating a safe, healthy, and nurturing learning environment for young children. This role involves planning and presenting age-appropriate activities that promote intellectual and creative growth while providing emotional support to students. The teacher will also maintain positive relationships with parents and communicate regularly about their child's progress.

Responsibilities

• Instruct children in activities designed to promote intellectual and creative growth
• Create a fun and safe learning environment
• Develop schedules and routines to ensure adequate physical activity, rest, potty-training, and playtime
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with children and parents
• Communicate with parents on their child's growth and progress
• Maintain the health and safety of all students

Requirements

• Valid Teaching Certification license
• Valid Child Development Associate Certification
• Experience in teaching or childcare preferred
• Bachelor's degree in a related field

• Previous experience in childcare, teaching, or other related fields preferred
