About the position

As a Pre-K Teacher at the Primrose School of Evergreen, you will create a fun and safe learning environment for 4 and 5-year-old students. The role involves guiding children through small group instruction using a research-informed curriculum, helping them develop kindergarten readiness skills while nurturing their overall growth in various developmental areas.

Responsibilities

• Provide a fun and safe environment for students to discover new concepts.
• Guide children through small group instruction to enhance their learning.
• Modify lessons to meet children at their individual learning levels.
• Help children refine their kindergarten readiness skills.
• Nurture students' social, emotional, cognitive, creative, and physical development.
• Prepare materials for learning activities and active play.
• Collaborate with a co-teacher to implement lesson plans from the Balanced Learning® curriculum.

Requirements

• 12 or more core units in Early Childhood Education required.
• 3 ECE units in Infant/Toddler preferred.
• Must meet required state background check.
• Work experience in a licensed childcare facility preferred.
• Ability to work on an iPad for daily logs and communication with parents.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Patience and a strong desire to nurture young children.
• Dependable attendance is required.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience working in a licensed childcare facility.
