About the position

Kiddie Academy of Marlton is seeking a passionate and dedicated Pre-Kindergarten Teacher to join our vibrant team. This role is perfect for an energetic and optimistic educator who is eager to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children and their families. As a Pre-Kindergarten Teacher, you will be responsible for the daily planning, management, and supervision of the classroom and the children within it. You will work closely with the Lead Teacher to ensure that all educational activities align with our Life Essentials® curriculum, which emphasizes activity-based, hands-on learning. This curriculum is designed to foster a lifelong love of learning in children, preparing them for future success. In this position, you will engage with children aged 6 weeks to 12 years, creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that encourages exploration and growth. You will also play a crucial role in addressing the concerns of parents, children, and classroom staff, ensuring that communication is clear and effective. Your creative touch and caring attitude will be essential in building strong relationships with the children and their families, as well as with your colleagues. Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the daily planning, management, and supervision of the classroom and children.
  • Assist the Lead Teacher in implementing the Life Essentials® curriculum.
  • Address concerns of parents, children, and classroom staff appropriately.
  • Create a nurturing and stimulating environment for children.
  • Engage with children in activity-based, hands-on learning experiences.

Requirements

  • Valid Child Development Associate Certification (preferred)
  • Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred)
  • 1 year of experience in Early Childhood Education (required)
  • 1 year of experience in Childcare (required)
  • CPR Certification (preferred)

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with children aged 6 weeks to 12 years
