About the position

We are a growing personal injury law firm located in Dayton, Ohio, seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented pre-litigation paralegal to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a caseload effectively while ensuring that all tasks are completed with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. This role requires excellent communication skills, as you will be interacting with clients, attorneys, and other stakeholders regularly. You will be expected to organize case files, conduct legal research, and assist in preparing documents for court proceedings. Training will be provided to help you acclimate to our firm's processes and expectations. As a pre-litigation paralegal, you will play a crucial role in the early stages of personal injury cases, gathering necessary information, and supporting attorneys in building strong cases for our clients. Your ability to manage time efficiently and prioritize tasks will be essential in meeting deadlines and ensuring that all aspects of the case are handled promptly. This position is full-time, requiring you to work in person at our Dayton office. Responsibilities

  • Manage a caseload of personal injury cases

Requirements

  • Associate's degree in Paralegal Studies or related field (Preferred)
  • Paralegal Certificate (Preferred)
  • 1 year of experience with Microsoft Office (Preferred)
  • Strong communication skills
  • Detail-oriented and organized
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Ability to handle a caseload effectively
  • Fluency in Spanish (Preferred)

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with personal injury law
