About the position

The Pre-Litigation Paralegal at Goff Law Group will support attorneys in managing personal injury cases, ensuring that all documentation is organized and up-to-date. The role requires a skilled individual with experience in legal environments, particularly in personal injury law, to assist in case management, legal research, and client communication.

Responsibilities

• Manage case files and maintain accurate records, ensuring all documentation is organized and up-to-date.
• Compile and prepare case specific documents to be provided to the necessary parties for negotiation or litigation.
• Communicate with clients, medical providers, and other parties to gather necessary information and documentation.
• Navigate and utilize firm technology, including case management software, medical records portals, and Microsoft Office suite.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the legal team.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of paralegal experience, preferably in personal injury.
• Prelitigation and litigation experience a plus.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in legal studies or related field is encouraged but not required.
• Proficient in legal research tools and case management software.
• Strong writing and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of personal injury laws and regulations.
