About the position

The Pre-Op Account Manager at BD Interventional's Surgery Division is responsible for maintaining and growing sales of the Surgical Preoperative Portfolio products and services. This role involves providing education to facilitate technology adoption, executing contracts, managing compliance, and developing relationships with key contacts in strategic accounts. The position requires significant travel and a strong understanding of clinical education and training related to the products offered.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and grow sales of the BD Surgical Preoperative Portfolio products and services.
  • Provide product and service education to facilitate technology adoption.
  • Execute contracts and manage compliance with strategic sales teams.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key contacts in strategic accounts.
  • Conduct business reviews and maintain an up-to-date business plan.
  • Attend and support local and regional conferences.
  • Participate in or lead pre-sales support and assessment of new products and services.
  • Manage customer training programs and serve as a resource to customers.
  • Identify opportunities for product improvement based on customer feedback.
  • Assist with training of new Pre-Op Account Managers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
  • 2+ years of relevant Sales/Account Management/Customer Success experience preferred.
  • Expertise with Microsoft Office including PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, and planning skills.
