Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments and document medical histories.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes in condition.
• Assist with pain management strategies to ensure patient comfort.
• Perform IV insertion and IV infusion procedures as needed.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop individualized care plans.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health conditions and treatments.
• Participate in occupational health assessments and airway management when necessary.
• Utilize electronic health record systems such as eClinicalWorks for accurate documentation.
• Assist in sonography procedures when required, particularly in the operating room (OR) setting.

Requirements

• Valid RN License
• BLS Certification
• 5 years of nursing experience
• Proficient in pain management techniques
• Experience with eClinicalWorks or similar electronic health record systems
• Knowledge of sonography practices and procedures
• Familiarity with operating room protocols
• Skilled in IV insertion techniques and IV infusion administration
• Understanding of internal medicine principles
• Competent in airway management practices
• Strong background in occupational health assessments.
