About the position

Arrow Glass Industries, a prominent player in the residential, multi-family, and commercial glass sector, is seeking a dedicated Pre-Production Configurator to join our team. This full-time position is based at our Houston, TX location and involves a variety of responsibilities centered around the analysis and coordination of orders in an office setting. The ideal candidate will possess a problem-solving attitude and a keen attention to detail, which are essential for processing important job orders accurately and efficiently. In this role, you will be responsible for data entry of a high volume of orders, requiring a typing speed of at least 60 words per minute. Creativity is also a key component of this position, as you will be tasked with drawing and designing glass panels. A strong mathematical background is necessary to ensure precision in measurements and calculations. Dependability and a strong work ethic are crucial, as you will be working in a fast-paced environment where accuracy and timeliness are paramount. Intermediate to high computer skills are required, and familiarity with AutoCAD is a plus, as it will aid in the design process. The working hours for this position may vary, with shifts typically running from 8 AM to 5 PM or 9 AM to 6 PM, Monday through Friday. Candidates must be willing to accept late working hours as needed. Additionally, all candidates must pass a background check and drug test prior to employment. Starting pay is dependent on experience, and the position comes with a full benefits package.
