About the position

The Pre-Production Manager at Dee Elly is responsible for managing account sales processes within the high-volume Merchandising/Design/Sales Division. This role involves organizing and maintaining style purchase orders, data entry, and providing administrative support to the merchandising and sales departments. The position requires strong organizational skills, effective communication, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Organize, prepare, and maintain style (SKUs) purchase orders through data entry.
• Collect, prepare, and submit style vendor forms.
• Create, update, and make changes to SKUs, including descriptions, colors, and price changes.
• Provide administrative support for the Merchandising/Sales Department.
• Process all Purchase Orders and ensure accuracy.
• Act as a liaison between buyers and the design, preproduction, and production teams.
• Perform other administrative and clerical tasks as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2 years of experience in preproduction assistant roles in the clothing industry.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

Nice-to-haves

• Previous administrative, data entry, and retail experience.
