About the position

The Senior Living Presales Engineer plays a crucial role in the success of Securitas Healthcare, a leader in enterprise visibility solutions for healthcare. This position is integral to the sales process, impacting revenue, product development, and overall client satisfaction. As part of the Professional Services Team, the Presales Engineer will act as a product and application expert for Securitas Healthcare's Senior Living solutions. This role involves evaluating client needs and applying Securitas Healthcare solutions to enhance outcomes, addressing client concerns, delivering presentations, and responding to technical inquiries. Additionally, the Presales Engineer will contribute to RFI/RFP responses and collaborate with the sales organization to identify and close targeted opportunities. The Presales Engineer will also conduct market research to identify and document future product and application requirements. This is a salaried position that may require some travel and can be based in proximity to an existing Securitas office or remotely from a home office, depending on the desired coverage time zone. The role includes a variable compensation component as part of the overall pay package.

Responsibilities

  • Provide presales support for Sales, Partners, and Clients.
  • Answer application and module questions, leveraging Product Development staff as needed.
  • Develop solution designs focused on meeting Client needs while protecting the Client's and Securitas' interests with deliverable solutions.
  • Support Client sales meetings (local and remote).
  • Establish credibility with the Client and position oneself as their trusted advocate.
  • Act as a conduit between sales, Client, and Securitas Healthcare product development, implementation, training, and support groups.
  • Create supporting solution design documentation (drawings, BOMs, solution design summaries).
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • BA, BS, BSC, AA or AS degree, or equivalent.
  • 3 to 5 years' experience with long term care solutions required.
  • 5 years sales/presales experience with Senior Living/Long Term Care security systems preferred.
  • Client facing skills (public speaking, written communication) required.
  • Technical writing and MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, Visio) experience required.
  • Knowledge of RF and networking principles preferred.
  • Low voltage cabling design and/or experience preferred.
  • Limited Knowledge of VMware and Server Infrastructure principles preferred.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
