About the position

The pre-Sales Engineer at DeNexus plays a crucial role in enhancing the sales funnel by connecting with a diverse range of clients, including security teams and risk managers, to educate them on the DeRISK platform. This position involves conducting product demonstrations, capturing client requirements, and supporting customer relationships to ensure successful adoption of the software. The role also includes representing DeNexus at industry events to generate leads and expand the sales pipeline.

Responsibilities

  • Present DeNexus technology strategies for multiple industrial verticals to cybersecurity teams and asset owners.
  • Attend and present DeNexus technology at industry conferences and events.
  • Assist with product leadership to translate customer requirements into the product roadmap.
  • Contribute to increasing the sales pipeline and expanding within the installed base.
  • Capture requirements to conduct successful Proof of Concepts (POCs) and agree on success criteria with clients.
  • Work closely with Sales Account Directors to design and define proposals and coordinate RFP responses.
  • Manage customer relationships and report back internally to improve brand awareness.
  • Rapidly learn and adopt DeNexus technology to become an industry leader in cyber risk.

Requirements

  • CRISC and CSSP certifications.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Sales Engineer in a cyber risk assessment or cybersecurity software vendor.
  • Experience in delivering cybersecurity solutions to end users in critical infrastructure or industrial technologies.
  • Knowledge of cyber risk assessment or risk management projects.
  • Ability to understand customer technical and business needs.
