About the position

Hadean is seeking a Pre-Sales Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in driving revenue growth by providing essential technical expertise and support throughout the pre-sales process. You will collaborate closely with our sales team to gain a deep understanding of customer requirements, demonstrate the value of our innovative products, and develop tailored solutions that meet the specific needs of our clients. Your contributions will be vital in assisting the sales team to successfully acquire new business opportunities. As a Pre-Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for conducting product demonstrations that are customized to the unique needs of prospective clients, showcasing the features, functionality, and benefits of our solutions. You will also design, develop, and execute proof of concept projects and demonstrations to validate the effectiveness of our offerings in real-world scenarios. Additionally, you will assist with technical inquiries, product evaluations, and proposal development, ensuring that our clients receive the best possible support and guidance. This role requires a proactive approach, as you will work closely with both the product and innovation teams, providing valuable market feedback to help shape the development of our product roadmap. To be successful in this position, you must possess strong communication skills to effectively convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including executives. You should be comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment, and be willing to travel as needed to support customer engagements and sales activities.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer needs and objectives.
  • Provide technical guidance and recommendations to help customers understand how our solutions can address their challenges.
  • Conduct product demonstrations tailored to the specific needs of prospective clients, showcasing features, functionality, and benefits of our products.
  • Design, develop, and execute proof of concept projects and demonstrations to validate the effectiveness of our solutions in real-world scenarios.
  • Assist with technical inquiries, product evaluations, and proposal development.
  • Work closely with both the product and innovation teams, supplying market feedback to guide the development of the product roadmap.

Requirements

  • Strong communication skills to effectively convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including executives.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.
  • Ability to identify and solve technical challenges that may arise during the pre-sales process.
  • Experience in one or more of the following programming languages: JavaScript, C/C++, Python, or a desire to develop these skills.
  • Demonstrated experience and understanding of distributed and/or federated systems, particularly simulation systems.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, including scoping, scheduling, and resource allocation.
