About the position
The Pre-School/Child Care Aide position at Cranberry Elementary is designed to support early childhood education for children with exceptionalities. This role involves assisting teachers in providing a nurturing and educational environment for preschool-aged children, ensuring their safety and well-being while promoting their developmental skills.
Responsibilities
- Assist teachers in implementing educational activities and programs for preschool children.
- Support children with exceptionalities in their daily activities and learning processes.
- Ensure a safe and nurturing environment for all children in the classroom.
- Help with the preparation of classroom materials and resources.
- Monitor children's behavior and provide guidance as needed.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- Experience working with children, particularly in a preschool or childcare setting.
Nice-to-haves
- Certification in early childhood education or related field.
- First Aid and CPR certification.
