The Pre-Series Electrical Systems Specialist at Bertrandt is a pivotal role focused on the commissioning of pre-series vehicles, specifically the ID4 (Electric Vehicle) and Atlas (Internal Combustion Vehicle). This position is integral to ensuring the buildability of these vehicles and their timely delivery. The Specialist will be responsible for analyzing errors and evaluating countermeasures, which involves closely monitoring pre-series vehicles during production or stationary builds. This includes documenting any electrical engineering (EE) related buildability topics and conducting tests on pre-series vehicle wire harnesses prior to assembly. In addition to these responsibilities, the Specialist will support production teams on EE-related topics, providing deeper analysis and solutions. This will involve creating documentation and analyzing statistical data to build comprehensive reports for further analysis. Collaboration is key in this role, as the Specialist will work alongside various departments such as Development, Logistics, Production, and Quality Assurance. They will support the Cross-Functional Teams (CFT) in Electrical Engineering and other working groups as needed. The role requires a keen ability to analyze construction changes and deviation permits, as well as CAD data, drawings, and descriptions to identify potential electric buildability issues. The Specialist will follow up with relevant departments to resolve these issues before the vehicles are built.
