About the position

The Precision Construction Territory Manager (Outside Sales) at Stribling Equipment, LLC is responsible for driving sales growth and market share within Central and South Mississippi. This role involves providing sales expertise in GNSS Machine Control, Construction Survey, and Heavy Civil Construction applications, while engaging in sales, training, and technical demonstrations of integrated machine solutions. The position requires continuous prospecting for new customers and maintaining relationships with established clients to maximize sales coverage and achieve business goals.

Responsibilities

• Manage Territory to maximize sales coverage and achieve sales goals for Deere, Leica, and Topcon technology-based Survey and Software products.
• Keep current on existing software, new software, and software updates.
• Installation of Machine Control systems as needed, requiring mechanical knowledge.
• Maintain a library of project documentation and reports according to company guidelines.
• Execute Territory Business Plan and complete sales plans, sales reports, daily call reports, and expense reports.
• Formulate bids on new and existing jobs and projects.
• Demonstrate proficiency in MS Office and CAD software for reporting and documentation.

Requirements

• Associate degree or higher in Surveying, Survey Technology, or Civil Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Two plus years of field experience in construction surveying.
• Proficiency in the application of 2D and 3D Guidance technology.
• Valid state driver's license and a safe driving record.
• Ability to handle physical demands including walking job sites, climbing, bending, and manually handling parts up to 50 lbs.
• Cognitive reasoning and problem-solving skills.

Nice-to-haves

• PLS certification is a plus.
• Experience with John Deere University Courses and Leica Machine Control Academy Courses.
