About the position

The Preconstruction Coordinator/Marketing Assistant at Evans General Contractors is a creative and detail-oriented role focused on supporting the preconstruction and operations teams with all creative content for the Coastal Region. This position involves collaboration with the Marketing team in Alpharetta and requires strong organizational skills, experience in marketing/design, and the ability to thrive under deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Support the preconstruction and operations teams on creative content for the Coastal Region.
  • Assist the preconstruction team in preparing bid packages, including gathering subcontractor quotes, organizing bid documents, and assisting with bid submissions.
  • Assemble proposal and presentation content for potential clients, including creating graphics, compiling project data, and drafting written content.
  • Collaborate regularly with the Marketing team in Alpharetta to assist with any design or content needs.
  • Maintain a strong attention to detail with exemplary proofreading skills.
  • Multi-task and update multiple assets concurrently as company needs change.
  • Regularly rework/update design assets as the needs of the business shift.
  • Communicate effectively, work independently, and ask questions when needed.
  • Be willing to take on additional responsibilities as needed.

Requirements

  • Familiarity with Adobe Acrobat, InDesign, Microsoft Office, and Canva.
  • Certification or degree in business, marketing, or comparable work experience.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks under pressure.

  • Experience in digital design.
  • Ability to work well with others and adapt to changing responsibilities.
