About the position

The PremierOne CAD/Mobile Application Specialist at Motorola Solutions is responsible for understanding and implementing comprehensive business requirements related to MSI applications. This role involves system provisioning, UI customization, training, and support for clients using the PremierOne CAD and Mobile systems. The specialist will work closely with clients to ensure successful setup, installation, and troubleshooting of technical systems, while also providing training and documentation to enhance user experience. The position requires significant travel and offers the opportunity to work remotely from anywhere in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Understand comprehensive business requirements related to MSI applications.
• Document requirements, implement solutions, verify functionality, and provide training and support.
• Manage system provisioning, UI customization, and conduct Business Process Reviews (BPR).
• Setup and install technical systems and applications for clients.
• Test and troubleshoot functionality of installed systems, documenting technical issues for escalation.
• Provide feedback based on client experiences to improve products and processes.
• Create and deliver customized training for clients, both remote and onsite.
• Lead and organize resources on complex projects, identifying and mitigating risks.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for application-related issues and communicate enhancement requests to Product Management.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Public Safety, Business Analysis, Field Service, CAD, Record Management Systems, or Jail Applications.
• Ability to obtain necessary security clearance as required by government contracts.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely.

Nice-to-haves

• Technical expertise in ESRI, SSRS Reporting, PremierOne, or Flex Applications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for responding to RFPs and migration quotes.
• Ability to work independently on large and complex projects.
• Experience in creating and delivering customized training.
• Subject Matter Expert (SME) on PremierOne or Flex, CAD, RMS, ESRI, or SSRS products.
• Experience in client installation of MSI products and UCR (NIBRS or SRS).
• Ability to produce and deliver Business Process Reviews.
