About the position

The PremierOne CAD/Mobile Application Specialist at Motorola Solutions is responsible for understanding and implementing comprehensive business requirements related to MSI applications. This role involves system provisioning, UI customization, training, and providing go-live support for clients in the public safety sector. The specialist will work closely with clients to manage data transfer, create process documentation, and ensure the functionality of installed systems, while also providing feedback for product improvements.

Responsibilities

• Understand comprehensive business requirements related to MSI applications.
• Document requirements, implement solutions, verify functionality, and provide training and support.
• Perform system provisioning and UI customization for MSI PremierOne CAD and Mobile.
• Conduct Business Process Reviews (BPR) and provide go-live support.
• Manage initial access, map and transfer data, and create process documentation for clients.
• Test and troubleshoot functionality of installed systems, documenting technical issues for escalation.
• Provide feedback based on client experiences to product and professional services teams.
• Create and deliver customized training for client users, both remote and onsite.
• Lead and organize resources on complex projects, identifying and mitigating risks.
• Train and mentor new employees, serving as the primary point of contact for application-related issues.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Public Safety, Business Analysis, Field Service, CAD, Record Management Systems, or Jail Applications.
• Technical expertise in ESRI, SSRS Reporting, PremierOne, or Flex Applications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for responding to RFPs and assisting in migration quotes.
• Ability to work independently on large and complex projects.
• Experience in creating and delivering customized training without assistance.
• Ability to execute, create, review, and modify Acceptance Test Plans (ATP).
• Subject Matter Expert (SME) on PremierOne or Flex; CAD, RMS, ESRI, or SSRS products.
• Ability to produce and deliver Business Process Reviews.

Nice-to-haves

• Higher level education (Bachelor's or Associate's degree) preferred.
• Experience in client installation of MSI products.
• SME on UCR (NIBRS or SRS).
