About the position

The PremierOne CAD/Mobile Application Specialist at Motorola Solutions is responsible for understanding and implementing comprehensive business requirements related to MSI applications. This role involves system provisioning, UI customization, training, and providing go-live support for clients in the public safety sector. The specialist will work closely with clients to manage data transfer, create process documentation, and ensure the functionality of installed systems, while also providing feedback for product improvements.

Responsibilities

• Understand comprehensive business requirements related to MSI applications.
• Document requirements, implement solutions, verify functionality, and provide training and support.
• Perform system provisioning and UI customization for MSI PremierOne CAD and Mobile.
• Conduct Business Process Reviews (BPR) and provide go-live support.
• Set up and install technical systems, applications, or process designs for clients.
• Manage initial access, map and transfer data, and create process documentation for clients.
• Train or coordinate training for client users on installed systems.
• Test and troubleshoot functionality of installed systems and document technical issues.
• Provide feedback based on client experiences to product and professional services teams.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Public Safety, Business Analysis, Field Service, CAD, Record Management Systems, or Jail Applications.
• Ability to obtain necessary security clearance as required by government contracts.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely.

Nice-to-haves

• Technical expertise in ESRI, SSRS Reporting, PremierOne, or Flex Applications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for responding to RFPs and migration quotes.
• Ability to work independently on large/complex projects.
• Experience in creating and delivering customized training (both remote and onsite).
• Subject Matter Expert (SME) on PremierOne or Flex; CAD, RMS, ESRI, or SSRS products.
• Experience in client installation of MSI products and UCR (NIBRS or SRS).
• Ability to produce and deliver Business Process Reviews.
• Experience in leading and organizing resources on complex projects.
• Ability to identify and mitigate risks and communicate them to management.
• Experience in creating formal documentation for peers.
• Ability to train and mentor new employees.
