About the position

The PremierOne CAD/Mobile Application Specialist is responsible for understanding and implementing comprehensive business requirements related to Motorola Solutions' applications. This role involves system provisioning, UI customization, training, and providing go-live support for clients. The specialist will work directly with clients to manage data transfer, create documentation, and troubleshoot system functionality, ensuring that public safety agencies can effectively utilize the technology provided.

Responsibilities

• Understand comprehensive business requirements related to MSI applications.
• Document requirements, implement solutions, verify functionality, and provide training and support.
• Perform system provisioning and UI customization for MSI PremierOne CAD and Mobile.
• Conduct Business Process Reviews (BPR) and provide go-live support.
• Set up and install technical systems and applications for clients.
• Manage initial access, map and transfer data, and create process documentation for clients.
• Test and troubleshoot functionality of installed systems, identifying and documenting technical issues.
• Provide feedback based on client experiences to product and professional services teams for improvements.
• Create and deliver customized training for clients, both remote and onsite.
• Lead and organize resources on complex projects and mitigate risks.
• Train and mentor new employees and serve as the primary point of contact for application-related issues.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Public Safety, Business Analysis, Field Service, CAD, Record Management Systems, or Jail Applications.
• Ability to obtain necessary security clearance as required by government contracts.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely.

Nice-to-haves

• Technical expertise in ESRI, SSRS Reporting, PremierOne, or Flex Applications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for responding to RFPs and migration quotes.
• Ability to work independently on large and complex projects.
• Experience in creating and delivering customized training.
• Subject Matter Expert (SME) on PremierOne or Flex; CAD, RMS, ESRI, or SSRS products.
• Experience in client installation of MSI products and UCR (NIBRS or SRS).
• Ability to produce and deliver Business Process Reviews.
